WHAT ARE B2 AND C2 EXAMS?
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is a guideline describing foreign language proficiency at six levels:
BASIC USER: A1 and A2
INDEPENDENT USER: B1 and B2
PROFICIENT USER: C1 and C2
Below is a detailed analysis of what candidates should be able to do in the four different language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) at different CEFR levels:

By consulting this framework of reference, it is possible to compare tests and examinations in different languages, across Europe. According to CEFR levels of language competence, Cambridge First (FCE) and Michigan ECCE are at B2 level, whereas Cambridge Proficiency and Michigan ECPE are at C2 level.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CAMBRIDGE AND MICHIGAN EXAMS?
Both exams test the four basic language skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, as well as grammar and vocabulary at different levels of linguistic competence.
